Free Fonts at the Font Squirrel

Font Squirrel is by far one of the better free fonts service out there.  The selection of fonts are elegant and carefully selected.

I came across this site because I was looking for a narrow typefont I can use for a website header.  A Google Image search led me to the perfect fit: Bebas.  I downloaded and installed the font, and worked wonderfully.  You have to be mindful though of some 'terms and conditions' set by the font creator.  In the case of Bebas, it was:

This is a freeware typeface. This means that you can use it on your commercial or non-commercial works for free.

But here is a list of things you could do, Only if you want to:
* Mail me about your works
* Link
* Send me a sample of the work you did using my typeface
* Mail me some print material you did using my typeface
* Credit "Flat-it"on your work
* Smile

to contact in JAPAN

Ryoichi Tsunekawa

So what did I do? I smiled and promoted his font through this blog :-).

Check out the Font Squirrel website and explore the wide range of nice typefonts available.

I am lucky to have read your blog. I am exactly looking for freeware typeface fonts to use for my web design since for me, a web designer I’d rather do an experiment for creating new website design concept and creative ideas and see its potential value than doing the usual static web design.
